This time we will focus of comfort and balance of turns, and look on how the details in technique influence the connection between the dancers, making it easy or impossible to seamlessly merge several elements based on circular momentum movements.

Tillfällen i hamnen.

Kom som du är. Nyfiken icke-alls-dansare, nybörjare eller en avancerad artist: solnedgången och havet är där för alla. Likaså musiken och plastgolvet som vi lägger för lite bättre glid. Arrangemanget är ideellt och anordnas av vem än tillgänglig i gruppen, klart är vi tacksamma för frivilliga bidrag om sådan infinner sig.
Vi siktar på att ha vatten och filtar att sitta på med oss men bäst förberedd är den som tar med eget  Bra att veta att det inte finns någon toalett i anslutningen till evenemanget.
I fall av regn senast en timme innan evenemanget, flyttas dansen till Project Pocket (15-20 min promenad från Dunkers). Även om det är härligt med doft av salt och söt vatten blandas i luften i hamnen

Tillfällen i parken.

Välkomna till sommarens bästa tillfälle att lära sig tango och möta hösten som en fullfjädrat tangodansare!
Varje onsdag ses vi i Furutorpsparken mellan 18-20. Då kan en nyfiken nybörjare ta en kort lektion eller tips för sitt tango. Gratis och öppet för alla.
Om vädret är ostabil: En halvtimme innan dvs 17.30, går vi efter väderförhållanden. Regnar det så går vi till Project Pocket och dansar där!
Det funkar bra med att ta picknick med sig, eget vatten och dylikt. Toaletten finns inte i direkt anslutning till scenen men nog på gångavstånd.
Underlaget är trä men vi täcker den delvis med plastmatta.

Dear friends, it is time to sum up our learnings with Cristian in the season of Spring 2024, and dig deeper to understanding and mastering of powerful communication, subtile moves and complex engineering of instant choreography that we didn’t know we were capable of.
Welcome to join the bubble of a tango camp. From Thursday 11 July till Sunday 14th, we take workshops in both dance technique but also body and communication awareness.
Here are the topics of the weekend that Cristian will focus on:
– Meaning of ”to be in tango”: connection with emotions.
– What do you radiate? Courage to be yourself, embracing other one.
– Walk is not equal to Go. Dimensions and directions of movements.
– To find a shared inner peace, listening to each other.
– When embellishments come naturally inside the movement and musicality.

And here is what you can engage yourself into in workshops with Tania:
– Transitions between tango and psychology,
– Elegantly encourage what you like and stop what you don’t,
– Honest talks on tango behaviours.

We start with an arrival lunch at 12.00 on Thursday and finish with a coffee at 17.00 on Sunday. Placement is in rooms of 2 to 4 persons, there is bed linen and towels at the venue.

Regarding the program:

We start on Thursday
12.00-18.00 with a warmup dancing and hangout at Project Pocket and in the evening me move to the festival location Stampus for a get-to-know-each-other at
19.00-01.00 for a dinner and milonga.

On Friday
15.00 – 19.00 we celebrate Midsummer during the day in a traditional way (dress comfortably and old-fashioned)),
11.00-14.30 we conduct some of workshops and for those who want to hang out in peace and rest,
15.00-19.00 Project Pocket will be open and with music on, while
20.00-3.00 we dance at the festival location Stampus/Helsingborgen.

On Saturday

11.00-14.30 we do more workshops (11.00-16.00 at Project Pocket) but also
15.00-17.00 we call for an international music experiment outdoors (god bless us with good weather! at least between 15.00-17.00))
Follow tha updates! as we will do our best to arrange a nice surprise spot to dance between 14.00-18.00.
20.00-03.00 dance till sunrise again! (Which actually is just an extended version of a sunset at midsummer but we dance till 3.00-ish)

Sunday:

One workshop, three milongas! We are bringing you out in the fresh air… On this day we run:
Brunch at 11.00-13.00 and Picknick 17.00-18.00
13.00 – 16.00 Milonga in the harbour: Alternative music milonga indoors at Dunkers culture house
16.00-19.00 Classic Milonga and dinner at the festival location.
20.00-22.00 Milonga outdoors behind Dunkers.

Anyone can register as there are many double-rolers in the area, but dont postpone your plans too much as the dancing venue can only host 200 persons!
