Third time is blessed and we are so excited to welcome you to the next Midsummer Tango Festivalito Helsingborg! This year it lands on June 18-21, in case you wonder why dates change: Swedish people are taking this Midsommar (midsummer) very seriously and only celebrate it when there are plenty of days to recover…

New for this year: we are planning for more dancing in other places, to help you discover the hidden gems of the city on a walking distance from the festival venue! Follow the program on social media and jump right in!

PURCHASE YOUR TICKET

Tickets are available as following:

Full pass: includes all 4 days dancing, food and lessons: 200 euro (2200SEK)

PLEASE OBSERVE: the early bird discount it availabe for registrations and payments until 26 December!
Day pass: Includes all above but for one day only: 30-70 euro (330-770 SEK) depending on the day of the festival.
Event pass: entrance to the selected event only, to make it possible for you to adjust as best tango and family life. It is possible to buy tickets to milongas only. We kindly ask you if you want to book lunch or dinner as well but not buy a day pass, to contact us (send an SMS to a logistics responsible person, please see contacts below) at least 2 days in advance so we can manage the planning. Price is 20 euro or 200 SEK. We make no reservations on amount of leaders and followers and warm encourage our participants to dance both roles!
Lessons: are included in the tickets above but if you only can visit lessons but not the social dancing, the price is 20 euro (200 SEK), you can even pay at the door.

As before, there will be (unless sold out tickets) some seasonal promotions but the best price for this unforgettable experience you will get by purchasing your ticket as anearly bird, until Christmas 2025. Wouldn’t it be it a lovely present for your dearest tango partner?

Another news goes with the volunteering opportunities. This time we decided to open up for anyone who is ready to join the team in exchange for the dancing pass, and put a little bit more specifics into the volunteering agreement, and limit amount of people involved. Curious? Get in touch with us!

Are there any deals for promoters? Yes of course. If you are a super great promoter and communicator, we are happy to have you as an ambassador and you will get your own promotion opportunity.

FRIDAY, 20th June 2025 Midsummer Day Venue: National Culture museum Fredriksdal for celebration, Stampus for dancing

A day of tradition, dance and summer magic!

13:00 – 16.00: National Midsummer Celebration at the Fredriksdal Museum & Gardens with picnic (entrance fee and catering will be arranged for the participants of the festival, booked latest 4 days in advance).

17:00 – 19.00: Indoor or outdoor dancing depending on the weather

19:00 – 20:00: Traditional Midsummer Dinner

20:00 – 21:00: Going out for live music and an evening drink!

21:00 – 02:00: Milonga

REGISTRATION

Festival is open for everyone and no gender balance measures apply. In the area of Helsingborg you will find a number of double role dancers as well. Therefore we don’t have a special registration link for this year’s edition, just purchase your ticket at the webshop. If you have any dietary restrictions that we need to take into consideration, please send an email about it to tangofortuna@gmail.com, kindly mark with DIET.

LOCATION

Stampus Helsingborg belongs to student association and lays 10 min walk from the central station, 20 min walk from the beach and in front of the park, with a nice wooden floor and a cosy backyard for long talks and listening to the birds at the sunrise, while cooling down your feet.

ACCOMODATION

There different options for staying over in the city. Midsummer is a hottest time of the season and many people from other parts of Sweden come to Skåne, so we recommend to look up and book a stay in advance.

You are welcome to get in touch with us if you would be interested in coach surf with a local (tango or not) friend. Another option is to go camping! Bring a tent or let us know, we might have some to borrow. Don’t forget your swimsuit!
