Tango DJs who will be performing at the Midsummer Festivalito are:

TDJ Acacio Coelho, Eva Lehrmann, Katalin Dillmont, Marcela Troncoso and Luis Cono. Welcome milonga on Thursday will be offered to you by Tango Fortuna’s host Tania.
To lead the workshops, this year we untrusted Katalin Dillmont.
We are happy to welcome Margriet De Bie, to sing for us live!

Acacio Coelho, Portugal

– is a dancer at heart, and chooses the musics that inspire persons to enjoy the fun and happiness of dancing. He loves to say ”Music is everywhere” He comes from Porto, Portugal.

Eva Lehrmann, Denmark

– Eva dived into the world of tango while living several years in Buenos Aires. She started DJ’ing early on in her tango-journey as an important and integrated part of her passion for tango; believing that understanding the music is essential for the dance and vice versa. As a DJ Eva focuses on offering an opportunity for varied social dancing in every tanda, while also aiming for a positive atmosphere during the milonga. ”Tango music is characteristic in it’s varied nature; it opens the door to the full spectrum of emotions – ranging from sorrow and intensity to joy and humor, while also shifting between pulsating rhythms and captivating melodies, in both furious tempo and profound stillness – it truly has it all.

Luis Cono, Chile

– ”For me, tango music is the key to enjoying this dance. Tango music represents a special connection to different emotions for me; it is like sailing across an endless ocean.”

Katalin Dillmont, Hungary

Workshop – Body, Balance & Playfulness –
(Re)defining circularity in tango technique (three open-level workshops for all roles) Across three workshops, Dillmont Katalin invites dancers to explore the circular language of tango – spirals, pivots, and refined foot and body technique – all approached through biomechanical precision and deep body awareness.
Each session begins with a short technical warm-up, accessible and beneficial for both leading and following. Katalin believes that technique belongs to the whole dancer, regardless of role or level. Improvisation is a key element throughout the classes. Participants are welcome solo or in couples, and will be invited to explore both roles in a playful, intuitive, and supportive space.
One of the workshops will feature a special guest teacher Acacio from Portugal joining Katalin, enriching the experience with collaborative inspiration and new perspectives. Her approach is grounded yet creative, offering a space where movement becomes dialogue, and connection begins with listening to the body.
Music
Dillmont Katalin’s musical approach is guided by deep listening and emotional connection. As a tango DJ, she crafts traditional sets that honor the essence of the Golden Age orchestras, often blending in contemporary reinterpretations that bring a fresh, upbeat energy to the dance floor. Her tandas are built with care, often weaving a subtle narrative through changing moods – from lyrical to rhythmic, playful to dramatic. Each milonga is treated as a living, breathing experience, where the music doesn’t just fill the space, but invites the dancers into it. Katalin believes a good DJ doesn’t control the room – they accompany it. With sensitivity, nuance, and musical intuition, she creates a space where dancers feel held, inspired, and free.

Marcela Troncoso, Argentina

Tania, Belarus

– enjoys music with a twist, joke and sincerity is the best source of energy, she believes. Favourite is tango nuevo; modern interpretation of Golden age classics as well as a certain very limited selection of non-tango songs can signify Tanias style as TDJ.

Margriet de Bie, vocal performance
Here is Margriets own words:
Born in the Netherlands, my family and I moved to Aruba when I was 4. I grew up in a very musical family. My father is a guitarist and singer and my mother used to sing in classical choirs. We grew up watching Disney movies and sang them while doing the dishes. When I was 10 I fell in love with Celine Dion’s music, and French music is still very dear to me. When I was older my mom and I were a backup choir for my dad in restaurants and I regularly sang harmony with my eldest sister, who became an Irish folk musician. I also performed in a few amateur musical productions and joined an Irish folk band for a while. But my passion lies with the kind of music I hear in neotango festivals! Like Adele, Lara Fabian, Zaz, Mecano… etc. When I was at a festival where the dancers got to dance around the live musicians I knew that’s what I wanted to do! In my daily life I work in the care industry and love to spend quality time with my girlfriend and my crazy cat. Being given the opportunity to sing during the Neotango Marathon in Greece last year, was a dream come true! Now, I am extremely excited and honored to be have been asked to sing for you in Sweden! I can’t wait, see you soon!
