Tango Fortuna Helsingborg

We are happy to welcome back our friend and colleague, Cristian Petitto from Argentina/Spain!
As always with our survival weekends, we target ultimate secrets or techniques, details of the devil that release free, comfortable and creative use of various elements, by both partners.

This time we deconstruct block chains… no 🙂 but chain interactions with high dynamics in close embrace and mutual execution: ganchos, barridas, sacadas. How to remain essential stability, radiate sense of safety and comfort and be as adventurous in close embrace as in vivid and wide tango nuevo performances? How simply not to fall and not to stress when legs of the partners are swirling around each other and musicality pushes the limits.

Welcome to join the 4 workshops that will take place on the weekend of 23-24 March, at Project Pocket (Västra Sandgatan 6, inside the block). This time we put the program in a ruthless but efficient-learning way, with as much impact on your skills as possible.

Saturday:
12.00 – 13.30 lunch and warm-up praktika
13.30-15.30 1st workshop
16.00 – 17.30 2nd workshop
Sunday:
10.00-10.30 breakfast
10.30-12.00 3rd workshop
12.00-12.30 Lunch
12.30-14.00 4th workshop
14.00-14.30 questions and reflections

(The rest of the day we aim to join the arrangements organised by Dunkers culture house:
between 13.00 – 16.00 milonga,
at 16.00 – 17.00 a free and open try-it-out tango session
18.00 – 19.00 live music concert

Fees:
full fee per person is 1300 kr including lessons, food and milonga in Saturday (Sunday milonga is free for everyone), for a couple 2200 kr,
one workshop: 350 kr
only milonga: 120 kr (snacks included)

Alla fina saker börjar små så vi testar med att iår, bjuda in våra internationella vänner – tango dansare, att vara gäster till vår svenska midsommarfirande. Och så passa på att dansa så klart! For this season, we have planned following:

Thursdays: Practicas between 19.00 – 22.00. Any level, also curious friends are welcome to join. There is a projector if you need to see some videos on a bigger screen, and we are democratic about the music choices 🙂 There ususally is coffee and tea available but if not, you are welcome to bring your own food and drink and have a smooth transfer from work to rest. Price: 50 SEK for members of Tango Fortuna and 70 for everyone else.

Fridays: Once a month, we hold a milonga! More specific 2nd Friday of each month, until May. Entrance fee is 70 SEK for members, 100 SEK for the others.

Course To-Be-Continued: for those who had beginners lessons last season, we reserve time on Sundays 16.00 – 18.00, sets of 4 lessons with a start on 11 of February. Price is 500 kr per person for all 4 occasions and we start a group if at least 4 persons registered for the same set.

Beginners course: also Sundays, right after the continuation course: between 18.00 and 20.00, all curious beginners are welcome to join the club! Family, cult, labyrinth… we all find different highly personal thrills in tango.

Private lessons: as a present to someone, a group activity with more or less reflexive depth or just a treat to yourself. Price is 300 kr/person and an intensive lesson goes as long as you can keep up the concentration (which is seldom beyond 1,5 hour).

Yes! It is a right time to start your tango journey, if you think that best learning to swim is in the storm!

Join our early tradition of intense tango weekend with topics:

– learn the basic steps: develop into infinity and beyond,
– dance for many hours: secrets of technique
– psychosomatics and recreation: the way out of burnout.
– codex of social dance: how to deal with awkwardness and desire

milonga 2nd FRIDAY – price: 100/70 kr – Friday 10/11:

Workshops – Saturday 11/11 – Sunday 12/11 – Price: 800/person or 1400 per couple

For the season 2023/24 we plan to continue with practicas on Thursdays between 19-22 and once a month, a milonga on the second Friday of the month.

For practicas, fee is SEK 50 and you are welcome to join the learning in a flexible and relaxed manner. There is wifi if you want to see and follow a tango lesson, chance to coose the music you want to dance to and even dangerously soft sofas to discuss all the matters in and outside of tango universe. A kitchenette is avalable for those who want to cook a cup of tea or coffee.

Milongas are planned as following: 13/10, 10/11, 8/12, 12/1, 9/2, 8/3, 12/4, 10/5.

Välkomna att njuta av dansen sommaren ut, tack vare stöd från Söderscen i Helsingborg helt gratis för besökare 🙂

Furutorpsplatsen i Södra Helsingborg, bara 10 minuter promenad från centralstationen. Bredvid finns den billiga parkeringen Bryggaren, gratis efter 18.00.

Nyfikna vänner bjuds till undervisning av enkla steg, och om vädret är inte nådigt, dansar vi 300 m bort på Project Pocket, inomhus!

Kom och lär dig Tango på Furutorpsplatsen varje vecka hela sommaren!

Vi börjar den 18:e maj och håller på fram till den 31:a augusti.

Inga förkunskaper krävs, och alla är välkomna oavsett nivå.

Gratis eller frivillig donation till en ny matta )) Våran början bli lite sliten efter flera säsonger.

17.00 -18.00 kör vi på med en gratis lektion öppen för alla

18.00 – 22.00 är det milonga! Ta mest fargglade outfits, testa byta rollen, prata öppet om allt som du velat veta med kände dig generat att fråga om.

Praktika och middag till en självkostnadspris, välkomna alla vänner! Vi testar en koncept fram till slutet av april och se vad som händer 🙂

Kl. 18.00 kan man komma och ta en lätt vegetarisk middag (mjölk produkter kan förekomma) tillsammans med arrangörerna, meddela vänligen att ni kommer så vi kan planera!
kl. 19.00-21.00 är det praktika eller en lektion om man vill hellre det.
Maten kostar 80 kr och praktikan 50 (lektion 100).

Vem som helst är välkomna, dansare som nyfikna kompisar som vill prova på.
